MAGICAL ROMANCE also holds the
World Record for a broodmare sold at public auction of 4.6m Gns.
(£4.83m).

has been an agent since 1991, firstly with the BBA and then
the CBA prior to the formation of MSL. Oliver's principle purchases include
CARRY ON KATIE (Cheveley
Park Stakes, Gr.1 etc.),
DARSALAM (Reinland-Pokal, Gr.1
etc.), MONSIEUR BOND (Duke Of York Stakes,
Gr.2 etc.) and
MILLENNIUM DRAGON (Appleton
Handicap Gr.3, 2nd Manhattan Handicap,
Gr.1 etc.). Many of the
purchases Oliver makes on behalf of clients are for export to the
Far East, Middle East, Australasia and Middle Europe.
Oliver also acts
for many breeders and has purchased HALLAND PARK LASS
dam of dual Gr.1 2 year old DUTCH
ART, SABRIA dam of Gr.1
winner LANDSEER, and BID DANCER
dam of dual
Gr.1 winner JANET. He also handles the stallion
nomination advice and bookings for clients.

years experience of racing in the Far East especially in Singapore
and Hong Kong. He is responsible for buying RED PEPPER

).
Philip keeps in close contact with many owners and trainers throughout
the whole Asian region and has built up a strong list of clients,
who use him to source suitable racing prospects for the region.

SUSIE McKEEVER , as well as being
married to Johnny, has been working alongside him in the bloodstock
industry for the last 12 years. Susie is part of the buying
team at the sales and has bought many horses herself for both
domestic and international clients, particularly in USA. Her leading
broodmare purchase is SPECIFICALLY (dam of Classic
winner Speciosa) who was bought for
€50,000 (£37,000)
and was resold for 1.85m Gns. (£1.94m). She has been involved in the
purchase of much of the breeding stock for both Kilcarn Stud
and the Irish National Stud. As well as being a
Director and Company Secretary, she works part-time during off-peak periods.
